With One-Click For All, Tencent Prepares to launch Chinese Music to Listeners All Over the World

The Asian Music Giant looks to propel its artists overseas with new service.

Tencent Music Entertainment Group, announced a new service to help Chinese musicians with overseas promotion and distribution. The new service, ‘One-Click For All’ aims to support Chinese musicians with international development and enhance global discovery of Chinese music.

‘One-Click For All’ enables artists to distribute music with one single click to over 150 popular global platforms, which includes Spotify, KKBOX, YouTube, Apple Music, and others – to audiences around the world from more than 200 countries and regions. TME will supply musicians with an International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) for free, to improve catalog management and copyright protection. Musicians will be given financial rewards every quarter, and artists will receive income generated from overseas distribution equal to 70% of the total earnings, after subtracting the service fee.

The Tencent Musician Platform has already helped distribute and promote more than 150,000 songs on overseas streaming platforms. Through the partnership with Apple Music established in November 2021, Tencent Musicians such as Liu Shuang, Akini JING, Joysaaaa and SARRA have gained international audiences. Hits like ‘Piu Piu Piu’ by Pin Yin Shi and ‘Wild Motor’ by Guo Gaoming have garnered over one million views on Youtube.

In a press release Tencent expressed that “TME has always been dedicated to bringing local artists premium resources and international exposure opportunities. The Tencent Musician Platform is the preferred platform for local independent musicians, and it seeks to encourage more local artists to put their talents on a larger scale by providing them tools to share their music with audiences all over the world.”
